This is me. A long time ago.

As a married mother of two, I am fascinated by the stories of families who decide to adopt and the stories of the individuals who are adopted. My own story is quite unique. At the age of three, I was adopted from Haiti and grew up in Vancouver, B.C. In the following years, my parents adopted four more children from Haiti. Although all five of us are from different families, our lives will forever be connected. There is a quote I love that says, “an invisible thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break.”  Each story here represents a person whose life was changed through adoption, and each story begins with those.four.little.words. “tell me your story…”
